I can't teach for nuts. All my students, past and present, always have a way to do anything else except the work i've set out for them to do. I'm so disappointed, I think it's me, definitely. I'm not a person who is firm enough to instil discipline into my pupil, not that i have much discipline in the first place as well. No matter how much i yell, nag or even try to bribe them with a candy or two, it's never enough, the nonsense keeps going on. I will not let my child be as mischevious and out of control as all these kids i've seen these few years, it's really enough to drive me nuts.
Well, that aside, I'm quite lucky that my only tutee left is quite a good student. She's a quiet student who knows when to do her work and will ask when she's in doubt. That's the right attitude, isn't it? Not climbing around on tables, chairs and taking screws out of the wall. For goodness sake, i almost went mad when i saw the screw taken out of the wall by one of my ex-student. Back on to the topic, I'm just very grateful that she's appreciating my help and just fully utilising this resource. I hope she continues with this and scores well in her PSLE (:
okay, I'm not taking up any more tutees after this, period.
