BACK FROM TAIWAN! (:
I must say it's a totally fun experience to be exploring a city with friends! Though we were off with a bumpy start(due to the closure of one of our destinations), the trip went ahead without much disruptions and it turned out to be rather exciting and cool!
We had a nice and pretty hostel to begin with! Apple House(: Anyone who wants to go to taiwan for free&easy and wants the email add of the hostel owner, you can ask me/jess/jinyi/huimin for the address (: we have her name card and website add (: the house was spacious and well-equipped (: We had late night movie marathons (although our horror movie marathon always cmi cos we couldn't start up late enough :P) Haha, we slept around 2++ 3 mostly, and woke up like 8 plus 9? by the 6th,7th day, I had one of those very heavy eyebags :P Lol!
When we landed, we heard about Taiwan having one of their typhoons. But luckily, it didn't come into the island, sorta swerved away. O wells, we were very lucky, cos the typhoon actually helped us to lower the temperature SIGNIFICANTLY, and the swerve kept us away from harm (: so the temperature we got was generally around 20-21 deg (: it was cooling (: slightly colder than an air-conditioned room... the day that we went to yangmingshan, it went as low as 17 deg with wind, rain and mist. haha, totally chilly. we couldn't see anything beyond 2m radius!
Food was fantastic! with luroufan as cheap as S$1 per bowl, ahzhong mian xian, a po yu yuan, ice cream, fried sotong leg with pepper, chicken cutlet and of course, my FAVOURITE TONGYI PUDDING ICED MILD TEA!! really love that milk tea SO SO SO SO SO MUCH!! if anyone happen to go to XIMENDING, you HAVE TO TRY IT!
anws, had a surprising discovery this trip (: Jinyi's buddy Seah Huimin is actually my primary 2 classmate in CHONGFU (: nice to meet you, fellow 2G-an (: really had an enjoyable trip with ya!
