Love Sembawang Shopping Centre as a hideout.
Found that it's really quiet on weekdays and the products there are super nice, affordable and the environment is super noiseless (for a shopping centre). You can say it's one of the shopping centres that is way off the "convenient route" for most people, hence, explaining the lack of shoppers. Maybe that's what we like about life occasionally. To walk along the streets without bumping into anyone that you might know. Shopping and looking at items without bothering about the world outside, exploring things on your own, and looking at things from your own angle, analysing things from your point of view. It's beautiful, isn't it?
Imagine yourself sitting quietly in an inconspicuous spot in starbucks, tucked at the corner of the shopping centre, enjoying the peace and tranquility of your surroundings, taking things in one by one and people-watching for the rest of the day. Life wouldn't be such a chore, don't you agree?

Found a very cheap chocolate and chips shop at SSC today. Joan and I were like frantically helping them empty the shelves =P !! They sell their chips for a lower price than what Cocoa Tree sold to us in school. Guys, if you wanna buy chips or anything, i can help long bang and buy, it's darn affordable! Daiso's another store you must definitely NOT MISS!!! The things there are CUTE, VERY PRACTICAL, AND TRENDY!!! Saw a winter hat(not exactly a hat, i don't know what you would call it) Love it to bits! It looks super cool and nice to wear that. If only there were the four seasons in Singapore. Actually, i don't mind the omission of any season, as long as there's winter around, and occasional sunny days for us to bask in the sun. Joan found this "warm your hands in the pocket" thing. Think it's super cool. It'll work wonders if you're overseas, travelling in an extremely cold country! In the end, we exerted some self-control and ended up buying around 4 items altogether... Not bad :D considering that we were tempted by almost anything that we saw in the store. Anw, the next store to look out for is POPULAR. Simply because SSC is so ulu that popular has become a really nice place to shop around and buy things that you normally can't find in other outlets. (Bought a colour that i've been searching for a LOoooNG while, and i found it there! ) It's really cool to be in a nearly-empty popular, it seems that you just booked that place for your own usage.
Joan, send me the pictures that we took yea? i think the items are darn cute and nice!
Anyway, have a nice weekend ppl! Enjoy it before reality sets in and the new week threatens to force its entry.
